Service changes affecting Carnforth, Lancaster

From Sunday 29 October 2012 there were a number of service changes that affect the Carnforth area in Lancaster.

New Service 51  will replace services L1 and service 50. This service will link Silverdale,Yealand,Warton,Carnforth and the Kellets to lancaster.

Service 55 will see the introduction of a new evening and sunday timetable between Lancaster and Carnforth. This will offer regular departures every hour between Carnforth Centre and Lancaster.

Service 5 between Carnforth, Morecambe and Overton will see a number of minor changes to the Monday - Saturday daytime journeys.

Most daytime journeys will operate up to TEN MINUTES earlier. For example:

Overton departs at 40 minutes past the hour. Morecambe departs 08 minutes past the hour. Carnforth arrives at 29 minutes past the hour.

Carnforth now departs at 45 minutes past the hour, Morecambe departs 7 minutes past the hour, Overton arrives 35 minutes past the hour.

Early morning, evening and Sunday journeys will not change.

Service 5B Brookhouse to Morecambe - This is the old 531 route via Caton, Halton and Hest Bank. A new timetable will be introduced.

Service 5C Carnforth to Morecambe - This is the old 430 route via Crag Bank to Morecambe operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with a new timetable.

Service 55C Carnforth to Lancaster Infirmary - This is the old 435 route to Crag Bank to Lancaster operating on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with a new timetable.

Service 445 Brookhouse to Carnforth Schools - Operating on school days only via Caton, Halton and The Kellets to Carnforth High School.
